Oyster Grit

MainFeeds Barnyard Chicks and Layer Feeds are designed for the smaller poultry producer. They are wholesome nutritionally balanced feeds formulated to meet the needs of a chick and laying hen throughout its laying cycle. We supply our own commercial poultry diets and also manufacture tailored rations for specific customers.

MainFeeds Barnyard Oyster Grit is a natural source of calcium which can be offered as a supplement to hens on an ad lib basis throughout the year. It may be added to Barnyard Layer Mash and Layer Pellets or fed separately. Calcium is an essential nutrient for promoting good bones and egg shell quality.

Feeding Recommendations

Always have clean fresh water available. Place water in a separate container away from the dry feed to minimise spillage and dampness. Store your MainFeeds Oyster Grit in a cool, dry place and protect from rodents.
